Rent Comparability Studies (RCS)

Are you getting all the rent you are entitled to?

HUD requires most Section 8 project-based contracts to submit a Rent Comparability Study with the contract renewal to demonstrate that current rents are at or below comparable “market rents”.

This session will:

• Discuss what is an RCS and how to obtain one;
• What Contract Renewal Options require an RCS; and
• Alternatives to RCS when renewing under an Option 2 renewal

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
